Pasta Presidential Style

I found out on wikiHow that you can make pasta using a paper shredder. Somehow that just gets me in that political frame of mind. Only thing that might make it more accurate is if you start writing national secrets on your pasta.

Getting realistic here, I have no intention of making pasta at home. And that doesn’t depend on what the defionition of ‘at’ is.

  3. Minesweeper
  4. “Me hungy” - my son’s favorite sentence.

  6. Being too conscious of my husband at his computer - I can’t stand being watched when I write.
  7. Cooking dinner - but it makes for a nice break.
  8. Playing with the kids - although one could say it makes me more productive as a mother.
  9. American Idol auditions - the rest of the show I just half listen to, in case someone really good comes on.
  10. The Amazing Race - but now it’s over for the season.
  11. Assorted other television shows.
  12. Checking blog stats.
  13. Not taking enough time away from the computer when I know a break would do me good.

One, Two, Three, Four, Time to Play Geek War!

Ah, I’m just in one of those moods. Kind of goofy, geeky and just need to post some stuff that looks like fun. KWIM?

Let’s start with carpet skates!

Considering the fall my daughter had the other day just walking too fast in socks on a wood floor, I shouldn’t even be thinking this. But how can I not? I don’t care that they say ages 6-18, I want them for me!

And I’m thinking combine them with marshmallow guns.

Seems like a great way to have a mini indoor war. The marshmallow guns take some work to pump up, but that’s a part of the challenge. These I already own.

Just sayin’ it might be fun…

Do You Need Supervision?

Or perhaps I should say… super vision? Looks to be on its way.

A contact lens has been designed that can have circuits in it. It could display things superimposed on what you normally see.

The uses for these could be practical as well as fun. They’re talking about how pilots could use the technology as well as how it could be used in virtual reality games.

Of course, we all have to wait to see what actually comes of this technology. It can’t do much yet.
