Shopping for Shoes Online
I’m going to be in my sister’s wedding in September. She’s an easy/difficult bride.
Yes, I know that’s a contradiction. But she insists she’s trying to be easy even as she does things that drive everyone nuts.
One of the most difficult things she’s done for we bridesmaids is to be picky about the dresses, even as she tries to not be picky. She told us that she wanted us to pick our dresses. We could pick color and style. The one rule is that no one could match anyone else.
That said, she’s been pretty picky about the dresses. She found a dress she liked for me on eBay. Wasn’t quite my style when I tried it on, so she’ll be putting it back up on eBay. Very much a relief, since I did find a dress I adore. There’s much less yellow to the green than there appears to be in the picture. Utterly stunning on.
Now I just have to find shoes, and I think I may end up buying online. I did have to go to the store to check my shoe size. Since having two children I’ve gone from a size 9 to a 9-1/2. Pretty vital information when you want your shoes to be comfortable for a wedding.
I’ve had a lot of fun checking out Zappos. I love their policies and selection. I put a bunch of shoes on my favorites list. They ship overnight free, and you can return for free. They also promise to beat other sites’ prices. Add in the reviews many of the shoes have, and it just seems like a really comfortable way to shop for shoes.
I haven’t ordered yet. My dress is due to arrive at the shop August 10, and I would like to have it available when I choose my shoes.
