Hopefully you can come up with a better way to pick a blog to vote for than that! Because PayPerPost is sponsoring the Blogger’s Choice web awards, and I’d love to see what happens.

I count over 30 categories for blogs to be nominated to, so if you blog there’s a good chance you can find a good category for it. Or you can always pick your favorite and nomiate someone else’s blog. You can add your own comments to nominated blogs as well.

Winners of the Blogger’s Choice awards will be recognized at PostieCon in Florida on June 2.

For bloggers, this looks like a fun shot for some bragging rights. Each person can only vote once per blog per category, but beyond that what you do is up to you.

You do have to create an account to nominate and vote for blogs. Some categories are of course more competitive than others, although given the newness of the site, I wouldn’t say any category is impossible to do well in yet, so long as you have a good blog. Some have 3 or so pages of nominated blogs, but I think the most votes I saw on a blog was 20 or so. Given the promotional work they’re trying (paid posts such as this, for example), I think there will be more competition soon.

I may yet nominate one or more of my blogs, for all I haven’t done it yet. Can’t hurt anything and could be interesting. Eeny, Meeny, Miney, Mo!
