Bird Watching Binoculars
Bird watching is for the…
People with binoculars, I would think. And if you enjoy birdwatching, the right pair of binoculars matters to you.
I was reading over at the Eagle Optics website about choosing bird watching binoculars. Depending on what kinds of birds you want to watch, you’re going to need different power binoculars, for example.
A good pair of binocular isn’t cheap, but this is one of those things where the quality really does count. And you can find binoculars in the under $200 range if that’s all you want to spend. You’ll also need to consider whether you want full size, mid-size or compact binoculars. There are advantages and disadvantages to each, so it really depends on what you need from them.
If you have children who want to watch birds, I would suggest the compact binoculars, simply because they’re so much lighter and smaller, perfect for smaller hands. Beyond that, it’s really up to how you want to use them.
