Achoooo!
Darn colds.
Between this dratted cold and wondering what on earth is going on with my car, which has been going from mechanic to mechanic as they try to figure out what’s wrong with it, I haven’t been up to my preferred level of blogging.
This cold is a nasty one. Starts out with a high fever and body aches. Now it’s pretty much all sinus - blech!
That car of mine is just amazing. It’s a ‘93 Saturn and as of now the third mechanic it has been referred to has made a few repairs but is still testing to be sure that he’s got it all.
Took it to my regular mechanic a week ago today. He determined that it was a transmission problem and sent it to a transmission shop.
The transmission shop worked at it for three days. They finally determined that it was an electrical problem beyond their abilities to diagnose. They sent it to the electrical shop.
The electrical shop started work on it yesterday. Today they finally called to say they had replaced a few parts and were continuing to test.
I really need it just done. The total right now is right at my budget for the car so I really hope the electrical shop doesn’t find more wrong or we’ll be down to one car for a while which is not going to be pleasant.
